A True Bavarian Biergarten right here in Columbia S.C.

Bierkeller was inspired by the nearly 10 years our founder, Scott Burgess, spent in Bamberg, Germany. While abroad, Burgess shelved his formal studies and instead availed himself of as many breweries and Biergartens as he could. The result: a desire and a passion to bring his experiences home with him -- and to share them with all of you, his fellow Columbians. Thus Bierkeller was born. Bierkeller serves authentic German beers in a gemütlich (cozy) Biergarten setting. Our goals are authenticity, freshness, hyper-locality, and consistency.
